About Me
Michael has been involved in commercial real estate since 1986. He is licensed with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) and a member of the Ottawa Real Estate Board. Michael received his commercial accredited appraiser’s designation (AACI) in 1991 from the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Michael is also a licensed mortgage Broker and a member of the Mortgage Professionals Canada. Michael has extensive experience consulting to corporate and institutional real estate space users involving lease renewals, relocation of existing premises, establishment of new operations and acquisitions. Michael’s experience as a commercial appraiser and mortgage broker adds value to the sales and leasing he undertakes at CLV Group. These activities include sales and leasing of retail, office, commercial and industrial properties, as well as sales of apartment buildings, investment properties, special use properties (i.e. retirement homes) and vacant land. MORTGAGE BROKERAGE Michael is a licensed mortgage Broker and a member of Mortgage Professionals Canada. He is actively involved in arranging commercial real estate financing and mortgage investments. He has access to all major lending institutions, banks, life insurance companies, trust companies and co-ops. For commercial deals which fall “outside the box”, Michael has been very successful in placing his clients in private mortgages. Michael has arranged conventional and private, first and second mortgages, on retail, office, commercial, and industrial properties, as well as apartment buildings, special use properties (i.e. hotels), recreational properties, farms and vacant land. Michael’s experience as a commercial appraiser and real estate agent adds value to completing the mortgage transactions.
